The Duramatic's advanced 5-way hinged mechanism offers completely customised support to all parts of the body, effectively reducing aches and pains while promoting proper spinal alignment. The bed ends can be raised or lowered together or separately, giving you unlimited positioning options for reading, watching TV, or sleeping. The flexible sprung slatted base incorporates lumber adjusters that allow you to increase or decrease tension in the lower back area, providing targeted support exactly where you need it most.

Choose between two exceptional mattress types to suit your comfort preferences. The memory foam option features temperature-sensitive, body-moulding memory foam layered over supportive reflex foam that eliminates pressure points and contours perfectly to your body shape. The soft stretch knit fabric cover enhances comfort while the reflex foam displaces air bubbles sideways when pressure is applied, returning to its original shape when pressure is removed. Alternatively, select the pocket spring mattress for traditional spring support with individual pocket springs that respond independently to body movement.

Built with Dura Beds' renowned quality standards, the Duramatic features a strong and robust twin motor mechanism designed to support body weights up to 25 stone. The reliable electric operation is controlled via an easy-to-use remote handset that puts your perfect sleeping position at your fingertips. The sprung slat system provides additional comfort and support, working in harmony with your chosen mattress for optimal sleep quality.

Upholstered in a range of high quality fabric colours designed to coordinate with your bedroom, the Duramatic is available in all standard sizes from small single to super king. For king and super king sizes, the bases are linked together with separate mattresses and individual controls for each side, allowing partners to adjust their side independently.

Please note: King size and super king bases feature linked construction with separate mattresses and individual remote controls for each side. Power supply is required for electric operation. VAT exemption is available for qualifying long-term medical conditions.

Please note that deliveries to Scottish Highlands we estimate delivery within 5-15 working days. If you receive a delivery slot and you choose to reschedule, we cannot be held responsible for any delays in getting your order booked for a new delivery date.

For delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands, we can offer free delivery to a nominated mainland GB address e.g. a port. Onward overseas shipping fees from that point is the responsibility of the Buyer. Quotes for onward shipping can be provided upon request.

FREE 2 Man Delivery

We offer a FREE 2-Man Delivery Service to the Room of Choice with A Specialist 2-Man Home Delivery Service.

Your order can be also be left at the entrance of your property or in safe place upon request, please note this must be arranged the day before delivery. We would not be able to accommodate for this if requested on the day of delivery in line with our delivery partners terms and conditions. 

If a customer chooses to not have the delivery inspected or signed for, they assume full responsibility for any damages and Divan Base Direct will not be liable for any issues unless recorded at the time of delivery. By opting out of a signed delivery, the customer waives the right to raise claims regarding the condition of the goods.

Please also be aware that our 2-Man Delivery service is not available for the following postcodes. For these areas, we offer only a 1-Man delivery to the doorstep. Assembly and removal services are not available for these postcodes:

HS1-HS9, IV41-IV49, IV55-IV56, IV63, KA27-KA30, KW17, PA20-PA34.

Express Delivery

Our express delivery service typically operates within a 2 to 5 working day window, though this is a average guideline rather than a guaranteed timeframe. Delivery times can vary depending on your location or regional courier limitations. 

Express means a faster-than-standard service based on average delivery times in common areas. Even if your order arrives outside the 2–5 day window, it’s still quicker than normal processing. It’s a relative term, not a guaranteed timeframe. Remote or uncommon postcodes may naturally fall outside this average.

Please note that selecting express delivery goes beyond just faster shipping. It involves accelerated order handling, prioritised scheduling in our manufacturing process, adjustments to our normal production workflow, and expedited dispatch arrangements to ensure your order reaches the delivery depot as quickly as possible.

We are unable to take responsibility for delays to this service resulting from circumstances outside of our control, not limited to examples such as adverse weather, courier disruptions, industrial action, customs delays, or other force majeure events and these do not qualify for express fee refunds.

Refunds for the express delivery fee are only possible if requested before production begins. Depending on when the order is placed, production may start as soon as 1 hour and up to 15 hours later, so we advise contacting us promptly if you need to cancel or make changes.

Delivery Lead Time

We offer a flexible delivery service, for special delivery requirements, we can arrange these over the phone or via email, contact us on 0333 366 0145 or info@divanbasedirect.co.uk. 

We aim to deliver all items within 3-10 Working Days via our usual delivery process. Please note that deliveries to Scottish Highlands may have longer lead times and we estimate up to an additional 5 working days may be added to the delivery lead time stated above.  If you receive a delivery slot and you choose to reschedule, we cannot be held responsible for any delays in getting your order booked for a new delivery date. Once your delivery slot is booked you will be notified by email or SMS directly from the couriers, Furdeco, please note that the delivery team only confirms delivery slots 1-2 days in advance. Your 3-hour time slot will be provided by the evening before your scheduled delivery date.

We aim to deliver within 3-10 working days but sometimes there can be delays which are beyond our control.  We cannot be held responsible and will not be able to compensate for losses incurred or consequences of delayed or rescheduled deliveries and our cancellation terms will still apply.  This is includes but is not limited to days taken off work and cancelled hotel or Airbnb bookings.

Booking in Your Delivery

We like to ensure your goods are delivered in good time and in good condition. It is imperative you provide us with your best contact telephone number and email address to ensure that we are able to communicate effectively with you.

Our Delivery Partner

Having learned from experience, we do not use national couriers for any of our items. We use an independent delivery company, Furdeco, who provide a Premium 2-Man Delivery Service to the Room of Choice. You can contact them on 0121 285 5255.

Their professional 2-Man Delivery Teams handle your goods with great care and attention, ensuring the products you have ordered arrive to you in the best possible condition.  Deliveries are typically carried out up one flight of stairs only. However, if you call in advance, arrangements can be made for delivery beyond one flight of stairs. This does not apply if you have a lift, simply inform us in advance that a lift is available

Deliveries are carried out Monday to Friday, with the exception of some bank holidays. Please note: the day of delivery will be specified by our couriers. However, if this day is not convenient, they will work with you to re-arrange for an alternative date.  If a booked delivery date is not cancelled before 3pm the day before delivery, redelivery fees will be applicable to the customer. 

Delivery Costs

FREE 2-Man Delivery applies on orders to addresses within Mainland GB including parts of Scotland. Unfortunately, off-shore addresses are not included within this, however we do have a secondary courier who can deliver to offshore address including Northern Ireland, Isle Of Wight, Isle Of Man, Channel Islands and Scottish Islands.  Upon request we can provide you with a quote for deliveries to these offshore addresses.

For delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands, we can offer free delivery to a nominated mainland GB address e.g. a port. Onward overseas shipping fees from that point is the responsibility of the Buyer. 

In taller buildings like apartment blocks, deliveries beyond the 2nd floor will incur an additional charge if there is no elevator (or product does not fit in the elevator), and our drivers need to carry the items upstairs. Failed Delivery Fees

If your delivery has been booked in and you miss the delivery, there will be a re-delivery surcharge for the first item and a further surcharge for each additional item.

Please note if you are booked for a delivery and you do not inform us of unavailability by 3pm the day before delivery, a redelivery fee will be applicable.

Please check the product dimensions before placing your order to ensure the goods will fit into your home. If our couriers are not able to fulfil the delivery due to access restraints, it may result in a fee of up to 50% for each item to cover the costs of transportation, manufacturing and administration.

Sometimes scheduled deliveries do not go as planned.  We recommend that you do not have old beds or mattresses removed from your property until you have received your order.   If you have your old beds or mattresses removed prior to delivery, you do so at your own risk of not receiving your new order as planned.  We strongly advise using our couriers recycling service to ensure same day delivery and removal if needed.
