FREE 2 Man Delivery
We offer a FREE 2-Man Delivery Service to the Room of Choice with A Specialist 2-Man Home Delivery Service.
Your order can be also be left at the entrance of your property or in a safe place upon request, please note this must be arranged the day before delivery. We would not be able to accommodate for this if requested on the day of delivery in line with our delivery partners terms and conditions.
If a customer chooses to not have the delivery inspected or signed for, they assume full responsibility for any damages and Divan Base Direct will not be liable for any issues unless recorded at the time of delivery. By opting out of a signed delivery, the customer waives the right to raise claims regarding the condition of the goods.
Please also be aware that our 2-Man Delivery service is not available for the following postcodes. For these areas, we offer only a 1-Man delivery to the doorstep. Assembly and removal services are not available for these postcodes:
HS1-HS9, IV41-IV49, IV55-IV56, IV63, KA27-KA30, KW17, PA20-PA34.

Delivery Lead Time
We aim to deliver all items within 3-10 Working Days. Please note that deliveries to Scotland and South West England may have longer lead times and we estimate up to an additional 7 working days may be added to the delivery lead time stated above. If you receive a delivery slot and you choose to reschedule, we cannot be held responsible for any delays in getting your order booked for a new delivery date. Once your delivery slot is booked you will be notified by email or SMS directly from the couriers, Furdeco, please note that the delivery team only confirms delivery slots 1-2 days in advance. Your 3-hour time slot will be provided by the evening before your scheduled delivery date.
We aim to deliver within 3-10 working days but sometimes there can be delays which are beyond our control. We cannot be held responsible and will not be able to compensate for losses incurred or consequences of delayed or rescheduled deliveries and our cancellation terms will still apply. This is includes but is not limited to days taken off work and cancelled hotel or Airbnb bookings.
Booking in Your Delivery
We like to ensure your goods are delivered in good time and in good condition. It is imperative you provide us with your best contact telephone number and email address to ensure that we are able to communicate effectively with you.
Our Delivery Partner
Having learned from experience, we do not use national couriers for any of our items. We use an independent delivery company, Furdeco, who provide a Premium 2-Man Delivery Service to the Room of Choice. You can contact them on 0121 285 5255.
Their professional 2-Man Delivery Teams handle your goods with great care and attention, ensuring the products you have ordered arrive to you in the best possible condition.
Deliveries are carried out Monday to Friday, with the exception of some bank holidays. Please note: the day of delivery will be specified by our couriers. However, if this day is not convenient, they will work with you to re-arrange for an alternative date. If a booked delivery date is not cancelled before 3pm the day before delivery, redelivery fees will be applicable to the customer.
Delivery Costs
FREE 2-Man Delivery applies on orders to addresses within Mainland GB including parts of Scotland. Unfortunately, off-shore addresses are not included within this, however we do have a secondary courier who can deliver to offshore address including Northern Ireland, Isle Of Wight, Isle Of Man, Channel Islands and Scottish Islands. Upon request we can provide you with a quote for deliveries to these offshore addresses.
For delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands, we can offer free delivery to a nominated mainland GB address e.g. a port. Onward overseas shipping fees from that point is the responsibility of the Buyer.
Failed Delivery Fees
If your delivery has been booked in and you miss the delivery, there will be a re-delivery surcharge for the first item and a further surcharge for each additional item.
Please note if you are booked for a delivery and you do not inform us of unavailability by 3pm the day before delivery, a redelivery fee will be applicable.
Please check the product dimensions before placing your order to ensure the goods will fit into your home. If our couriers are not able to fulfil the delivery due to access restraints, it may result in a fee of up to 50% for each item to cover the costs of transportation, manufacturing and administration.
Sometimes scheduled deliveries do not go as planned. We recommend that you do not have old beds or mattresses removed from your property until you have received your order. If you have your old beds or mattresses removed prior to delivery, you do so at your own risk of not receiving your new order as planned. We strongly advise using our couriers recycling service to ensure same day delivery and removal if needed.
