Divan Beds usually come as set with matching mattress meaning you don't have to buy them separately, but as a complete 'ready-to-sleep' Divan Bed Set. The Divan Bed Sets come in every standard size too, meaning they're ideal for any room, space or person - with the added benefit of not paying for a separate mattress. Choose from a wide variety of styles, mattress types and Divan types (various drawers options) and make it your perfect package.

Unlike traditional bed frames, a divan bed is compact, space-saving, and built for durability, with many designs also offering hidden storage.

Our divan bed sets include a platform top bed base. When selecting a divan bed base, you’ll also be able to select what storage options your bed base has, as well as the fabric and colour it is upholstered in.

Mattresses

We have divan bed sets available with a variety of different types of mattress. We offer everything from traditional coil sprung mattresses to pocket sprung, memory foam, latex, combination and orthopaedic mattresses as part of our bed sets. You also have the option to choose from soft, soft/medium, medium, medium/firm, and firm mattresses to ensure you get the perfect night’s sleep.

Headboards

Unlike many retailers, many of our divan bed sets also include matching headboards (check individual product description for details). A headboard is the perfect way of matching your divan bed base to the rest of your bedroom’s decor. At Divan Base Direct, our headboards, like our divan bed bases, are available in a wide range of fabrics and colours to help you achieve the perfect look in your bedroom.

Castor Wheels/Bed Glides

You'll find that our bed sets also include either a set of castor wheels or a set of bed glides (see individual product information for more details).

These not only provide something for your bed to stand on, making it easier to open the storage drawers in your bed base, but they also make it easy to move your bed as and when needed.

How do I design my divan bed set? 

On the Divan Bed Sets collection, you can build your bed bundle to your bespoke specifications. Our UK craftsmen then get to work building your set and delivering it within 3–10 working days.

1. Choose your desired headboard and mattress combo
2. Select your bed size (from small single to super king)
3. Add storage (optional)
4. Confirm you'd like to add the headboard
5. Pick your fabric (free fabric samples available if you’re unsure)
6. Decide if you’d like additional reinforced support added to your bed base for extra bed base life (optional)
7. Add to cart and we’ll handle the rest!
