The Ellesmere mattress is part of the Artisan range made by The Shire Bed Company, a UK Yorkshire based manufacturer and renowned member of the National Bed Federation and British Furniture Manufacturers Association, recognised for outstanding product quality and service.
The mattress is 28cm thick and features a supportive 2,000 pocket spring unit, designed to conform to the body and provide support for pressure points, encouraging correct spinal alignment while you sleep. A side support edge provides a firmer feel without compromising on comfort.
Natural fillings including Cotton, Wool and Silk create a fresh, breathable and temperature regulating sleeping surface with a medium comfort support. Their natural and antimicrobial properties also make the mattress a perfect solution for allergy sufferers.
Finished in a high quality Cotton viscose fabric with a hand tufted finish for added durability and comfort, a hand stitched border to add strength, flag stitched handles for easy rotating and air vents to allow airflow through the mattress preventing the build up of moisture.

FREE 2 Man Delivery
We offer a FREE 2 Man Delivery Service to the Room of Choice. Alternatively, the goods can be left in the entrance of the property, or outside in a safe place upon request.
Delivery Lead Time
We aim to deliver all items within 3-10 Working Days*. Please note that deliveries to Scotland and South West England may have longer lead times and we estimate up to an additional 7 working days may be added to the delivery options as stated above.
Booking in Your Delivery
We like to ensure your goods are delivered in good time and in good condition. It is imperative you provide us with your best contact telephone number and email address to ensure that we are able to communicate effectively with you.
Our Delivery Company
Having learned from experience, we do not use national couriers for any of our items. We use our very own independent delivery company Epic Logistics, who provide a Premium 2 Man Delivery Service to the Room of Choice.
Built by us the retailer, Epic Logistics has enabled us to be in complete control of all our deliveries. Their professional 2 Man Delivery Teams handle your goods with great care and attention, ensuring the products you have ordered arrive to you in the best possible condition.
Deliveries are carried out Monday to Friday, with the exception of some bank holidays. Please note: the day of delivery will be specified by Epic Logistics. However, if this day is not convenient, they will work with you to re-arrange for an alternative date.
FREE 2-Man Delivery applies on orders to addresses within Mainland GB including Scotland.
For delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands, we will deliver to a nominated mainland GB address e.g. a port. Onward overseas shipping from that point is the responsibility of the Buyer.
Failed Delivery Fees
If your delivery has been booked in with Epic Logistics and you miss the delivery, there will be a £30 re-delivery surcharge for the first item and a £10 surcharge for each additional item.
Please check the product dimensions before placing your order to ensure the goods will fit into your home. If Epic Logistics are not able to fulfil the delivery due to access restraints, it may result in a fee of up to 50% for each item to cover the costs of transportation, manufacturing and administration.
